The founder chairman of Borderlands Nepal, Mr. Megh Ale has been awarded the personality of the year award, 2016 by PATA Nepal chapter for his contribution to the tourism industry. Mr Ale has been known for his passion towards river conservation and sustainable tourism practices in the Nepali hospitality industry.
